Chicago!

I had a nice little trip back to Chicago where I spent my childhood years. It was chilly and windy there (high in 40s, lows in 20s) and for my now very thin California skin, it was downright freezing. But with so many interesting things and places to photograph in Chicago, I wasn’t about to let the weather stop me from creating some images. I had downtown and park portrait sessions (which I hope to post soon!) and I also did some walkaround shooting in the downtown area, especially in Millennium Park. Millennium Park wasn’t built until fairly recently and it is a great place to take the whole family, especially kids. They’ve got a great fountain area and a really interesting “bean” which any kid, grown-up or not, will enjoy.
