I had an absolutely wonderful time photographing this family. Little ‘A’ was so adorable and the family was such a good sport for all of the ideas I had. The light was just splendid and held up for an extra-long session that seemed to go by all too quickly. I hope you like your preview!
If you follow this blog regularly, you probably recall these sisters from last year. Well, little E has grown quite a bit since the last session and big K is as adorable as ever. I’m looking forward to the next time!

This family portrait session was a really fun and special one. Not only is my son good friends with one of the boys, but this family has lived on the Coast Guard property of the Point Vicente Lighthouse in Rancho Palos Verdes for the past few years by virtue of dad being an officer in the Coast Guard. But alas, dad received a new assignment in Michigan (which will be closer to family) and they wanted some portraits to remember the time they spent at the lighthouse. We’ll miss seeing you around and wish you the best!
After missing photographing my kids among the wildflowers last year, I dragged them out for a quick session out among the flowers this year. We actually had a great time and I also got some images to put on my walls as a bonus. I’m already looking forward to next year’s blooms!
